Union Finance Minister Niramala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2023 in Parliament on Wednesday. Beginning her speech, FM Sitharaman said that this Budget will focus on these areas: Inclusive development, reaching the last mile, infrastructure and investment, green growth, youth power, and the financial sector.
Union Finance Minister Niramala Sitharaman said a national digital library would be set up for children to facilitate quality books.
Sitharaman said in a push for the National Education Policy 2020, states would be encouraged to set up physical libraries at the panchayat level.
She also said that the libraries would have adequate books in regional languages
