It was a great learning for us in this Potters’ village . He accompanied me to the Potters’ village near Koraput while I was to make a story on the Potters .Very soon he became friendly with the families there and they gave him some earthen toys .When I said that my child might break them , the women said that children learn by breaking toys , tearing papers & clothes .Let’s allow them to some extent . I smiled and accepted the gifts from them .And when I opened the toys before Devanwesh at home he enjoyed to touch them and after a while broke one of them accidentally .But immediately gave back all other toys to keep in the bag .Perhaps he learnt not to break further .I offered my gratitude to the Potter women for sharing such a wonderful learning for adults like us on how to be with children in the process of their development.
