A millet tasting Event was organized in 65 Bn BSF campus, Koraput under the Odisha millets Mission on 28th Aug,2023.
The BSF Jawans were introduced to various kinds of millets. Shri Tapas Chandra Roy, BAO delivered a lecture on benefit of millets and how to prepare tasty dishes using various kinds of Millets. About Hundred Fifty Jawans attended and BSF cooks were given training on preparing dishes of various millets like Kodo Millet Chicken Biriyani, Kodo Millet Fried Rice,Little Millet Curd Rice, Ragi Noodles, Bajra Soup, Sorghum Barfi, Foxtail Millet Kheer and Sprouted Ragi Salad.
The Program was attended by Officers of Sector HQ Koraput, 65 Bn BSF and Odisha Millets Mission Officials including Shri Virendra, Commandant, Shri SR Panda PMG, Shri Jagdish Dabai, second in Command and Shri Tapas Chandra Roy, BAO.
The program was successful.
