District Level Launching of HBCC Mass Media Campaign by Save The Children at Koraput

Sharat Kumar Palita, Vice-Chancellor of Odisha Central University in Koraput has expressed the opinion that good health can be possible if personal cleanliness is combined with environmental cleanliness. On the occasion of the launch of the state level Hygeine Behaviour Change Coalition campaign to avoid corona by wearing masks and maintaining personal hygiene and keeping distance from each other in Koraput Saints School campus today, Professor Palita highlighted the need to practice personal hygiene. To reach the entire rural areas of Odisha by using various media to get the people in the vicinity to remember the password prepared based on washing hands, wearing masks and keeping distance from each other, to remember and pronounce it by themselves. Abhijit Bhadra, the state head coordinator of Save the Children organization, which is making efforts through the campaign said . Mr. Bhadra said that in this series, now in all the 14 blocks and 4 urban areas of Koraput district, hoardings will be put up and this message will be delivered to the students and the message of awareness will be implemented in every house. On the occasion of the launch of this state level campaign, Koraput District Social Welfare Officer, DCPO, Block Education Officer, volunteers, students attended while Rupali Goswami from Hyderabad office of Save the Children, Manoj Kumar Mishra from Bhubaneswar office and Koraput District Coordinator Bidyadhar Meher addressed the students.
