Now Adivasi Mela has begun at Bhubaneswar .I wonder if the timing of the festival was right looking at the cultural engagement of tribals in Chaitra festival( I know at least in Koraput tribals are not free from their community festival to go to Bhubaneswar ) .In the month long festival the entire community gets together to celebrate in their own way .Rather than taking these tribals to dance and showcase their products at Bhubaneswar it could be better if they were dancing in their natural surrounding in the festival time and tourists are guided to reach them and buy products from the village itself .There is a thin line of difference between use and participation .Hope we realise it and encourage decentralised tourism .
