Dear Friends ! Hope you all are doing well . Now with the dates for municipal elections are declared and nominations to be filed from 2nd March , we are listening many names of men trying to contest for the position of Chairman at Koraput .But suprisingly we are hearing of only male candidates contesting for the top position in the municipality council .Why Women are not there in the list of probable candidates ! ( if there are women aspirants , I really appreciate) .Why are they only contesting in wards ! Why should women contest only when the seat gets reserved for women .Why are political parties not give women a chance when it was not reserved exclusively for women !
