It was interesting to learn during the recently held Heritage walk at Bhubaneswar that there was a view tower outside the boundary wall of Lingaraj Temple from where we could see the entire campus from backside of the temple .We were told that this was done by one English man during British rule when he had seen that non-Hindus were not allowed to enter inside the temple .
